Giddy-up and go! With some nice weather on the Chesapeake Bay, the Rallyers are starting to arrive at Hampton Public Piers for the big kick-off of inspections, seminars, and social activities! We’ll all join the Hampton Snowbird Rendezvous (included in the Rally registration) before the official start of the SAIL event.

He estimates only one in ten or twenty boats has AIS, so there were hundreds of boats headed south that day. Southbound, perhaps because of the weather or the boat show schedule, the boats tend to move at the same time. Northbound, it will be more of a trickle of boats spread out over months.
